Claire Burris

Claire grew up in Miami, Florida in a musical family -- so you can say music is in her blood! She has played cello for over 20 years as well as the piano and guitar. Prior to living in the Tampa Bay area, Claire worked for several orchestras such as the Ocala Symphony Orchestra, Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra, The Florida Orchestra, and many others. When she is not working with Sweet Harmony Music, Claire freelances often throughout the state of Florida. She graduated from Florida State University with her bachelor’s in music degree and plans on returning for her master’s in the near future.

When she is not playing for private events, Claire is a full-time K-5 music teacher for Pinellas County Schools. She also enjoys cooking and spending time with her animals and loved ones.
