Johnny Herbert

Johnny is a singer, classically trained pianist and ukulele player
available for parties, wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours and
receptions in the New York/New Jersey region. One of the area’s most
experienced wedding performers, he has traveled with his Kala tenor
ukulele and provided music for over 120 wedding ceremonies in the past
four years. From a recent client review: “Johnny is a talented

With more than 20 years studying and performing on the piano, Johnny
is comfortable playing classical pieces from Bach or standards from
George Gershwin and Cole Porter. As a singer, Johnny was a member of
the University of Southern California Vocal Jazz Ensemble and was an
original member of the nationally recognized a cappella group Reverse
Osmosis. He holds a degree from USC’s Thornton School of Music and is
co-founder of Skylands Music School in Ringwood where he teaches piano
and guitar. He also serves as music director and principal organist
at St. Francis Xavier Church in Newark, New Jersey.
